Chloe Stole The Show

It's pretty bad when the dog steals the show on Halloween night. And it is also pretty bad when you are scrambling to make costumes for your children at 5:30 p.m. Halloween night, and your dog has had her costume for weeks.


Bubba was a Red LEGO with a little help from a moving box, solo cups and a can of red spray paint. Hannah was Sacagewea with a little help from the fabric stash, my brown belt and some make-up. And Chloe stole the show as Pooch-a-Hontas, complete with tomahawk and wig.


Don't get me wrong, I am NOT the "buy a costume for the dog" type. Nor do I baby my dog or carry her around in a bag or basket. She is a dog. A pet. Hannah bought her the costume at Petco for $5.00.
